Mer et Fleurs en Guadeloupe

palétuviers, mangrove guadeloupeAn adventure day in an atypical environment ! Closed by the longest West Indian  coral reef, the « Grand Cul de Sac Marin » is partly classified as Nature  Reserve. It is an area of great scientific relevance. Its mangrove and forest  swamp with its fauna are a real paradise for whom lingers there.

Rowing you  will reach several mangrove islets.   Joining back the bank, you will get in the bus to reach a little fishing port. There,  you will watch the fishermen landing with their « saintoises » (Guadelupian boat),  talk to them and discover what is fished in the area.

After a typical lunch, you will visit the Botanic Garden, Coluche ex property (a  famous French comic). A 1h30 walk will show you the West Indian vegetation  diversity.
