Falaise de la Grande Vigie Guadeloupe

cimetiere-morne-a-l-eauYou wil take the Grands Fonds road, vast landscapes of valleys and hills, a place  rich of history and traditions. The first stop is in the little village of Morne à  l’Eau. You will visit its picturesque cemetery. The black and white earthenware  tombs look like a giant chessboard. After going through Petit Canal village, you  will stop in Port-Louis, a fishermen village opened on the « Grand Cul de Sac  Marin ». In this lagoon, you may have swim at the famous « Souffleur Beach ».  The trip goes on to reach the northern part of the island and the Pointe de la  Grande Vigie cliffs. This natural boundary between the Atlantic ocean and the  Caribbean sea offers wonderful views.

West Indian lunch in a warm and convivial atmosphere. You will be initiated to the  rhythm of Zouk music, an authentic West Indian dance.

During the afternoon, you will discover the Pointe des Châteaux, impressive show  of the raging ocean, the jagged rocks by the erosion and an splendid vieux on the  Désirade island.   Back to the hotel by the end of the afternoon.
