An adventure day in an atypical environment !

Closed by the longest West Indiancoral reef, the « Grand Cul de Sac Marin » is partly classified as NatureReserve. It is an area of great scientific relevance. Its mangrove and forestswamp with its fauna are a real paradise for whom lingers there. Boarding a canoe, you will drift along the mangrove trees lead by birds. Rowing youwill reach several mangrove islets.

Joining back the bank, you will get in the bus to reach a little fishing port. There,you will watch the fishermen landing with their « saintoises » (Guadelupian boat),talk to them and discover what is fished in the area. After a typical lunch, you will visit the Botanic Garden, Coluche ex property (afamous French comic). A 1h30 walk will show you the West Indian vegetationdiversity.
